UNLV Foundation University of Nevada, Las Vegas

Friends

The university's mission is to concentrate its resources on programs that are student-centered, demonstrably excellent, and responsive to the needs of the local and regional community. As we provide scientific discoveries and social insights to help Las Vegas thrive, these efforts are also creating tomorrow's diverse and sophisticated work force, not only with the strong educational background and technical skills to succeed in emerging industries but also with a genuine appreciation for and dedication to our community.

In the last decade, as UNLV has grown and become more complex, the ability of the Nevada Legislature to fully fund all of the programs at UNLV has declined dramatically. Private funds are now essential to the people who study, teach, and conduct research at UNLV. Without private support, the quality of the educational experience at the university would be much poorer and the ability of the university to support the economic growth of Southern Nevada would be crippled. Thus, your gift through the UNLV Foundation is more than just a donation — it's an investment in the future of this dynamic metropolis.
